Iron Range Resources' grant programs support economic activity within the Taconite Assistance Area by enriching and expanding the unique resources of Iron Range communities. A variety of new and updated grants are now available to local units of government, nonprofits and businesses. With a renewed emphasis on Growing Communities, Iron Range Resources has committed over $8 million dollars to competitive grants in the upcoming year.  

Eligibility
All applicants must be located in the region statutorily defined as the             
Taconite Assistance Area (TAA) M.S. §273.134.  Click here for a map of the TAA. Additional eligibility requirements, which vary by program, may apply; so please review individual applications for details.
